Keith Katko Named City’s New Finance Director
August 16, 2021 — Keith Katko, who has more than 22 years of municipal finance experience with the City of Wilsonville, has been appointed to serve as the City’s new Finance Director, City Manager Bryan Cosgrove has announced.
Katko replaces Cathy Rodocker, who retired in June 2021. He most recently served as the City’s Assistant Finance Director, since 2018. For the 10 years immediately prior to that, he was the Finance Department’s Operations Manager. He joined the City’s Finance Department as an Accountant in 1999.
“I am immensely proud to be able to contribute to an ongoing legacy of financial responsibility in Wilsonville, and to serve the Wilsonville community in this capacity,” Katko said. “I have a passion for accounting, and I enjoy the challenges, opportunities and the diverse set of responsibilities associated with municipal finance.”
During his tenure with the City, Katko has collected comprehensive expertise in several municipal financial functions, including treasury, investments, debt management, grants, change management, budget preparation, financial forecasting, internal control, fund accounting, capital project accounting, urban renewal, database report writing, financial reporting and presentation and finance department operation.
“Keith is a collaborative and reliable leader who understands Wilsonville’s finances intricately,” Cosgrove said. “His skills, commitment and integrity made him the right choice.”
The City of Wilsonville has a $47.6 million FY 2021-22 operating budget, a $46.9 capital projects budget, and an all-funds budget of $241.8 million.
For 23 consecutive years, The Finance Department has been honored by the Government Financial Officers Association (GFOA) for excellence in financial reporting.
