Schedule Set for 2025 Budget Committee Meetings

February 25, 2025 — The City of Wilsonville has scheduled Budget Committee meetings to complete the annual review of the City’s current financial operations and to consider and approve the City’s Fiscal Year (FY) 2025-26 budget.

  • Wednesday, May 7, 6-10 pm, City Hall (Council Chambers): The Budget Committee convenes for an initial review of the City’s proposed FY 2025-26 budget.  The Committee scrutinizes aspects of the budget, hears public testimony and completes initial review and deliberation.
  • Tuesday, May 13, 6-10 pm, City Hall (Council Chambers): Review and deliberation on the proposed FY 2025-26 budget continues; the City’s Urban Renewal Agency budget is also considered. The public is welcome to address the Committee regarding either budget. At the end of this meeting, the Budget Committee may approve and recommend the budget for City Council adoption or convene a third meeting for further deliberation.
  • Thursday, May 22, 6-10 pm, City Hall (Council Chambers): If necessary, the Budget Committee completes the review and approval of the FY 2025-26 budget during this final meeting, held only in the event the committee needs additional time after the May 13 meeting.

Once approved by the Budget Committee, the City’s annual budget is forwarded to the City Council for deliberation and potential adoption, which is scheduled to take place at a public hearing on Monday, June 2, 7 pm at City Hall.

The Budget Committee consists of Wilsonville’s five City Councilors and five appointed members: Tyler Beach, Christopher Moore, Larisa Manuel Byers, Synthea Russell and Tabi Traughber.
