Mixed-Use Master Planned Communities

Villebois, an award winning development on the west side of Wilsonville, is the City's largest new neighborhood and is still under construction. Villebois is based on the character of traditional European villages and is a pedestrian-friendly mix of single family homes, condominiums, row homes, apartments, plazas and parks, green space, and a small commercial district. By the end of 2015 and the completion of the Barber Street extension project, this neighborhood is just a short walk or bike ride from Wilsonville's transit center at SMART Central, and TriMet's WES station and commuter rail service.

The golf course community of Charbonneau, south of the Willamette River, started in 1972 and is one of Oregon's earliest planned communities. Charbonneau has a small commercial district and housing types range from condominiums and apartments to traditional single-family homes, golf-course homes, waterfront properties and gated executive estates. Charbonneau has approximately 3,500 residents, and students living in the Charbonneau district attend school in the Canby School District. The remainder of Wilsonville residents belong to the West Linn-Wilsonville School District.

The Village at Main Street neighborhood is home to single family residences, town homes, and apartments. This area which is near Memorial Park and the Wilsonville Public Library, is also home to LA Fitness and numerous shopping and dining options.

Riverfront Neighborhoods

Do the names Gentle Ben or Kavik the Wolf Dog bring back memories of elementary school reading assignments? If so, then you're familiar with the works of author Walt Morey. Morey owned an estate in Wilsonville that was sold after his death in 1992 and is now known as the Morey's Landing neighborhood. This development is along the the Willamette River, on the west side of Wilsonville, near the Rivergreen neighborhood and the beautiful nature parks at Wilsonville's Willamette River Water Treatment Facility and Graham Oaks.

Daydream River Estates and Renaissance Boat Club are riverfront neighborhoods on the east side of Wilsonville, and adjacent to Memorial Park's sports fields, tennis and basketball courts, boat dock, community garden, playground, picnic areas and dog park.

East Side Neighborhoods

The east side of Wilsonville is home to Wilsonville High School, Boeckman Creek Primary School, Memorial Park, Town Center Park, shopping and dining options, and Wilsonville's Public Library and City offices. Other larger neighborhoods include Arbor Crossing, Canyon Creek Estates, Canyon Creek Meadows, Wilsonville Meadows, Landover, Renaissance at Canyon Creek, and Brenchley Estates. Many of these neighborhoods are within walking distance to major employers like Mentor Graphics, Xerox, Rockwell Collins, and Flir.

The Frog Pond area, at the City's northeast boundary, has been master planned for future residential development and construction is currently underway for 3 residential subdivisions. Nearby, the West Linn-Wilsonvillle School District owns property for the future development of another middle school, primary school, and sports fields.

West Side Neighborhoods

Wilsonville's Old Town neighborhood is on the west side of town, near Boones Ferry Park, with numerous shopping and dining options available. Other larger neighborhoods include Villebois, The Park at Merryfield, Montebello, Jaci Park, and Fox Chase; amenities include Wood Middle School, Boones Ferry Primary School and Lowrie Primary School, the Tonquin Trail, multiple Villebois Parks, Engelman Park, Graham Oaks Nature Park, SMART Central and the WES commuter rail station.
