Appeal of Administrative Decision - 29400 SW Town Center Loop West: Appeal of a recently issued Planning Director Determination that Fry’s Electronics is a legally established Non-Conforming Use in a Non-Conforming Structure with Non-Conforming Site Conditions. The Appeal was filed by Lars Andersen & Associates, Inc., on behalf of Lumberjack LP, owner of the property at 29400 SW Town Center Loop West.
February 6, 2024 — Calling all amateur and professional photographers: The City of Wilsonville's third annual “Best of Wilsonville" Photo Contest is now underway.
Help us celebrate the beauty that lies everywhere within our community! Share your own unique perspective on life in Wilsonville. All original photographs are eligible for prizes, including a $100 gift card (to the Wilsonville retailer of your choice) for the photo judged Best Overall. Up to 10 category winners will also be awarded prizes (to be determined by contest operators).

On Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2024, beginning at 6 pm, the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing regarding the Coffee Creek Code Adjustments, and will consider whether to recommend adoption of the updates to City Council.

January 20, 2024 — On January 18, 2024, The Council adopted an intergovernmental agreement with Clackamas County to fund the design of a new traffic roundabout at the three-way intersection of Elligsen Road, Stafford Road and 65th Ave. This major transportation enhancement, long advocated for by the City Council, is located just outside the City in unincorporated Clackamas County. The City is contributing up to $1 million from developer-paid Systems Development Charges to support the advancement of this high-priority project, which supports Wilsonville Transportation System Plan goals; County funding comes from the 2019 voter-approved Vehicle Registration Fee.
January 17, 2024 — To shed light on the history and/or lived experiences of people in historically-marginalized communities, the City of Wilsonville’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee is curating an all-new series of hour-long talks.
The DEI Speaker Series, which debuted last year, resumes with the first of three newly-scheduled events on Thursday, Feb. 1, at 6 pm at the Wilsonville campus of Clackamas Community College (29353 SW Town Center Loop E.).

January 12, 2024 – Explore Wilsonville, the City of Wilsonville’s tourism-promotion and destination-marketing program, has received a MarCom Gold Award for its new brand identity.
Explore Wilsonville’s new website showcases the updated visual identity, featuring a new logo, fonts and brand colors that align with the destination’s values and vision. JayRay, Explore Wilsonville's marketing agency of record since 2020, led the visual identity process. Through research and conversation, JayRay identified Explore Wilsonville's brand themes and proposed a fresh new look, centered around the tagline, "In the heart of it all.”

January 5, 2024 — On January 4, 2024, the Wilsonville City Council adopted the Wastewater Treatment Plant Master Plan, a 20-year plan to guide the management of the City’s waste water system. Adopted as an element of the City’s Comprehensive Plan, this Master Plan estimates future system usage and capital investment needed to complete new projects and replace aging equipment over the next two decades.
The January 2024 edition of the all-city newsletter, The Boones Ferry Messenger, is now available. This monthly publication is mailed to all Wilsonville residents; it includes the following articles:
December 19, 2023 — On December 18, 2023, the City Council adopted new solid waste and recycling rates, to take effect on February 1. The new rates, established with franchise hauler Republic Services, represent the first local increase in residential and commercial waste and recycling collection rates in five years. The average increase of 9.2% for residential customers equates to an additional $2.60 per month for typical 35-gallon service.
