Caregiver/Alzheimer's Support Group
Calendar Date:
Are you living with or loving a family member or friend who has dementia? Are you looking for answers regarding how best to care for them and for yourself as well? Does the future feel uncertain, not knowing what it will take to care for your loved one (and yourself), physically, medically, emotionally, and financially? Long term caregiving for someone living with dementia is a tremendous balancing act, but it's one you do not have to do alone and one you can experience in a positive and life affirming way. Please join Scott Lichtenstein, dementia specialist and group facilitator, and our group of caring folks from the community for lively discussion, dementia care information and resources, caregiver training and dementia communication tips, long term care planning, emotional support, and answers to your questions. All are welcome. Please call Sadie Wallenberg at 503-570-1526 for more information and to register for this group. *This group has moved to the Charbonneau Activity Center.
