Taking Care of Our Residents
The Wilsonville Community Center provides a variety of free health checks for participants, because it is part of our mission to help residents live healthy lives and to prevent chronic health conditions. All the clinics are free, except the Foot Care, which requires a modest fee.
Local professionals volunteer their time for the legal and investment clinics.
Foot Care Clinic
Pamper yourself by attending our foot clinic. You will receive 20 minutes of service including foot massage, soaking, nail clipping, and general TLC. Appointments fill up quickly.

Grief Support Group
Ed Nelson, CT will lead the group with the focus on providing education, resources and opportunities to share your grief journey. The group will use materials by Dr. Alan Wolfelt and material from The Grief Toolbox.

Medicare 101
United HealthCare will present Medicare101 the second Tuesday of every month from 10:30am to noon at the Community Center. The Session will cover the basics of Medicare including what to expect when turning 65 or qualifying on the basis of disability, Medicare Advantage, a Supplement overview, and help with prescription drugs and other programs available.

Caregiver/Alzheimer's Support Group
Are you living with or loving a family member or friend who has dementia? Are you looking for answers regarding how best to care for them and for yourself as well? Does the future feel uncertain, not knowing what it will take to care for your loved one (and yourself), physically, medically, emotionally, and financially? Long term caregiving for someone living with dementia is a tremendous balancing act, but it's one you do not have to do alone and one you can experience in a positive and life affirming way. Please join Scott Lichtenstein, dementia specialist and group facilitator, and our group of caring folks from the community for lively discussion, dementia care information and resources, caregiver training and dementia communication tips, long term care planning, emotional support, and answers to your questions.
