Celebrate the freedom to read!

Banned Books Week is officially the last week of September, but we extend it for the entire month. Throughout September, we will have displays and activities highlighting this form of censorship.

Learn about books that have been removed or challenged in schools and libraries in the United States every year. Some you might agree with, and others will surprise you.
